So UXD are also concerned with an application’s user interface, and this is why people get confused about the difference between the two. But whereas UI designers take responsibility for how the user interface will look, UX designers are in charge of determining how the user interface operates.
Research of UX design
It has particularly interested in user expectations. All of the experiences that users have faced with every application. If UX designers are not familiar with user’s expectations and what they want? UXD design the best interface for them but is not acceptable as the user’s side. After that users don’t like the interface and this could negatively impact their experience.

Whereas UI designers focus on a layout to attract customers and connect them to take desired actions designed by their UX peers. UI designers combine graphic, interaction, visualization, and elements design to produce the best possible layout. Their job is to turn conceptual content and layout into an attractive, intuitive, and responsive interface for users.
UX and UI Complement each other
UX and UI design are completely different. Both can work independently without affecting each other, Both designs serve the best possible user experience. UX defines where an audience wants to go and UI helps them get there.
Both are equally important. No matter how attractive the UI is, without UX, users would find the app or site as useless and customers feel their needs would not be addressed. And without an effective and pleasing UI design, even great UX would become obtuse. UX and UI design are equally part of the making useful and user-friendly app of a website also they are part of the internal mechanism of the back end and the external look of the front end.
